When is ZIVEX used?
ZIVEX hypertonic is a hypertonic solution of sodium chloride (NaCl), which clears nasal secretions, protects the mucous membranes and prevents the multiplication of viruses. It can be used at the first signs of discomfort such as inflammation in the nose or throat, sneezing and more.
How it works?
ZIVEX hypertensive is based on a hypertonic solution that sticks to the nasal mucosa forming a protective barrier on the mucous membrane with acidic pH: After injection into the nose or pharynx, ZIVEX hypertonic forms a biofilm that acts as a mechanical barrier between their distribution. Scientific tests show inhibition of 99.9% of viruses, including SARS-CoV 2 Coronavirus (Coronavirus) in just 30 seconds.
Zivex Hypertonic is suitable for nasal and throat injections, specially designed to form a protective layer of mucus in the mouth and nasal cavity to prevent the growth of viruses and bacteria. Developed with a technology that Crab Sinergy has been using in various products for more than a decade, when sprayed, they form a barrier of acidic and hypertonic environment with an adhesive component that attaches them to the mucus. This barrier action is enhanced by quercetin, which has a specific effect on the mechanisms of penetration of SARS-CoV-2 virus into nasal and oral mucosal cells, with a well-studied antiviral effect and against influenza H1N1 virus.
Zivex Hypertonic acts on three levels on the mechanisms of viral proliferation:
- They form an adhesive barrier with an acidic pH, which blocks the contact of the virus with the epithelial cells of the oral and nasal mucosa. Barriers composed of cellulose-based substances associated with acidic pH inhibit the proliferation of various respiratory viruses. Contact between the virus and the cells is prevented by a biofilm formed on the cell epithelium.
- The barrier effect is enhanced and made specific against SARS-CoV-2 by the antiviral active ingredient, quercetin. Quercetin in the screening of more than 8,000 substances ranks 5th in strength for its ability to inhibit the binding of the SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein to the ACE2 receptor on the surface of oral and nasal mucosal cells. Quercetin is also an inhibitor of the 3Cl protease, a major enzyme for the penetration of SARS-CoV-2 into host cells and a regulator of miRNA gene expression by interrupting viral genome expression.
- Quercetin has a specific antiviral effect by blocking the entry of influenza H1N1 virus into airway cells. Zivex Hypertonic Spray with Italian patent, which by including Quercetin in liposomes based on soy phospholipids (phosphatidylcholine), makes it more soluble in water until a sufficiently high concentration for antiviral effect. Quercetin is water-soluble in microparticles of phosphatidylcholine at a concentration of 1: 1, which are microdispersed in aqueous medium.
In case of upper respiratory tract infection, Quercetin has a triple action:
- Suppresses the penetration of the virus into the cells of the upper respiratory tract
- Has anti-inflammatory action, which regulates the release of cytokines and reduces the symptoms of the upper respiratory tract
- Has an immunomodulatory effect on the immune system
Zivex Hypertonic Nasal Spray:
- Unclogs the nose and relieves secretions for colds, flu, acute and chronic rhinitis, acute and chronic sinusitis

Zivex Hypertensive: 1 spray in each nostril 3-4 times a day. Apply at least 2 days after the symptoms subside.
When should you not use ZIVEX?
In case of a known allergy to any of the ingredients.
When should it be used after consulting a doctor?
- In case of frequent nosebleeds
- In case of known pathologies of the nose, ear and oral cavity
How to use?
For nasal administration: place the tip first in the right nostril and then in the left, press the dispenser with your index finger and thumb while inhaling at a normal intensity and duration without tilting your head. Repeat the procedure for each nostril.
How often can it be used daily?
ZIVEX hyperonic can be used at the first sign of a stuffy nose.
When used at the first sign of a cold, spray several times a day (3-4 times a day) until the symptoms subside. The application should be continued for at least two days after the symptoms have subsided.
Are there any possible side effects?
Short-term side effects such as burning in the nasal and / or oral mucosa may occur during use. A temporary but not prolonged burning sensation is not only not harmful, but can be a sign that the product is performing its function. Immediate irritation of the nasal mucosa may cause sneezing or increased nasal secretion. Discontinue use if these effects become too frequent or if nosebleeds occur.
When should you consult a doctor?
- At the first signs of hypersensitivity
- Cold symptoms persist or tend to worsen with fever

The same spray should not be used by several people at the same time to prevent infection;
